Description
This RFP is to procure a consultant to assist Frederick County Public Schools (FCPS) in purchasing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) as a replacement to the current STN/Workline system. The consultant will assist FCPS in compiling CMMS program requirements, developing an RFP, facilitating a selection, and supporting FCPS in obtaining the most advantageous solution. The current STN/Workline system has been in place since the mid-1990's and has had minimal functionality improvements over time. Frederick County Government currently hosts the program on their computer network. Due to the limitations of the current system, information about FCPS facilities and maintenance schedules is housed in multiple databases. The new CMMS software will provide system-wide consistency in information, better functionality in asset inventory and preventive maintenance scheduling as well as streamlined work order processing.
