Maryland DGS awarded over $292M in contracts in 2009. DGS procures everything from pens and paper to vehicles, complex lab equipment and building construction as well as maintenance services for 70 Maryland agencies, boards and commissions. Over $76M was awarded to MBE’s and more than 10% of all awards made were to certified small businesses.
