Mattawoman Wastewater Treatment Plant Closed Loop System Improvements
Charles County, MD
GHD Inc., an environmental engineering consulting firm located in Bowie, MD, is seeking qualified
Minority and Women Business Enterprises to provide price and qualification proposals to conduct visual
inspection of two (2) wet wells at the Mattawoman Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) located in
Charles County, MD. Inspection shall be non-man entry inspections using a pole camera (color video
and audio recording, zoom capable cameras with appropriate lighting to adequately see any defects and
suitable for the environment like Cues QZ2 or equal) in two (2) active wet wells (one influent wet well and
one effluent wet well) approximately 15-feet by 30-feet. Access is via top mounted hatches. Inspection
shall be conducted in accordance with National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO)
Pipeline Assessment & Certification Program (PACP). Deliverables will included color digital video on a
DVD (3 copies) and NASCO PACP reports (digital copies included on DVD in PDF format and three (3)
paper copies). Inspection data should also be provided in editable database or spreadsheet format (MS
Access or MS Excel. One copy sent to GHD via email or through appropriate file transfer site).
Time to complete: 30 Days from Notice to Proceed from GHD
Submittal: Please include the following:
• Lump Sum Price Quote to complete the above described work
• Resumes of Key Personnel (include NASCO certification number for the inspector)
• Three (3) reference for similar work within the last 2 years (Note if key personnel worked on the
referenced jobs)
• Proof of MBE/WBE Status in the State of Maryland
Proposals are due: April 2, 2012 at 3:00 PM. Proposals can be sent electronically to
