Our company is planning on bidding the following project, Annapolis Water Reclamation Facility Enhanced Nutrient removal Upgrade for the Department of Public Works located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. This project bids on August 24, 2010. The project has an estimated value of over $3 million with a contract duration of 730 calendar days.
Solicitation of participation by Minority, Women’s and Small Business Enterprises (WBE/MBE/SBE) is a requirement of this project. Accordingly, our company is soliciting quotations from subcontractors and suppliers on this project. We are requesting your organization’s assistance to us in contacting qualified WBE/MBE/SBE companies that would be interested in bidding work on the above project.
MBE/WBE/SBE Subcontractors are encouraged to bid as a joint venture/consortium if portions of the work are too large for a single company.
Subcontractors are also encouraged to breakdown work packages into a scope of work that enables the subcontractor to comfortably & competitively bid portions of the project.
