The Maryland Stadium Authority (MSA) is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified Contractors to provide furniture for Suites 5/6, 11, 12, 15, 38, 47/48 at Oriole Park at Camden Yards in accordance with MSA’s requirements as provided herein.

Contractors having questions and inquiries regarding the procurement sections of the bid documents should contact MSA’s Procurement Officer, Sandra Fox, at sfox@mdstad.com or fax (410)333-1888 no later than January 13, 2010. After that date, questions may not receive a response if there is insufficient time in order for the question(s) and answer(s) to be provided to all prospective bidders. Failure to follow these instructions may result in a delayed response to bidder inquiries. Bidders are solely responsible for becoming acquainted with the documents and job site prior to submitting a bid.

There is no MBE subcontract participation goal for this solicitation. It is the stated policy of the Maryland Stadium Authority to encourage Minority Business Enterprise participation on all State contracts where there is an opportunity to do so. Minority Business Enterprise firms are encouraged to respond to this solicitation.

The Maryland Stadium Authority will receive Sealed Bids until 2:00 p.m. on January 15, 2010 at which time all bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bidders are solely responsible for the timely receipt of their bids. Late bids will not be accepted. Electronically transmitted bids will not be accepted.

All bids shall be placed in a sealed envelope, marked and addressed as follows:
