ABERDEEN ADVANCED WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
ENR UPGRADE PROJECT
CITY OF ABERDEEN, MARYLAND
Sealed bids for construction of the Aberdeen Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant ENR Upgrade will be received by the
City of Aberdeen at City Hall located at 60 North Parke Street, Aberdeen, MD 21001 until 2:00 p.m. local time on
Thursday, January 14, 2010. Bids shall be marked attention Matthew Lapinsky, Director of Public Works. Said bids
will then be publicly opened and read aloud.
Estimated Construction Cost: Over $20,000,000
Copies of the plans and specifications may be obtained beginning on Monday, November 16, 2009 at the Aberdeen
City Hall upon submission of a plan deposit in the form of a check or money order payable to the City of Aberdeen in the
amount of $250.00 per set (Contract Specifications and reduced-sized Contract Drawings) plus $100.00 for optional CD. If
mailing of documents is requested, a separate check payable to City of Aberdeen in the amount of $110.00 per set must be
included to cover handling and postage fees. No refunds will be made for the return of plans and specifications. Direct any

This project will be funded in part by the Maryland Water Quality Financing Administration’s (MWQFA) State Revolving
Loan Fund (SRF) Program and the State ENR Grant Program.
􀂝 As a condition of federal grant awards, regulations require the RLF recipients (City of Aberdeen) and prime
contractors to make a good-faith effort to award a fair share of work to qualified Disadvantaged Business
Enterprises (DBEs). Bidders must demonstrate and document the affirmative steps to provide opportunities DBEs
