INVITATION TO BID Bid #10-C-10, Roof Replacement at Walkersville Middle School



The Board of Education of Frederick County will receive sealed bids for Walkersville Middle School – Roof Replacement. Bids will be received from Prime Contractors in the Purchasing Department Conference Room of the Frederick County Public Schools, 33 Thomas Johnson Drive, Frederick, Maryland 21702, no later than 2:00 P.M. local time, March 30, 2010, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after this time will be returned unopened.



A complete bid package is not enclosed. Specification Packages are available online at Frederick County Public Schools’ website: http://www.fcps.org/bidlist.



A pre-bid meeting will be held 10:00 a.m. local time, March 16, 2010, at Walkersville Middle School, 55 Frederick Street, Walkersville, MD 21793. Questions about the project should be submitted in writing to Bushey Feight Morin Architects, Inc., via fax: 301-733-5612, no later than seven (7) days prior to the bid due date, along with a faxed copy to Kim Miskell, Assistant Purchasing Manager, at 301-644-5213.



The Construction will commence immediately after the end of the instructional year and all “hot” work will be completed by August 16, 2010, with final completion by September 16, 2010.
