The Maryland Department of Aging (MDoA) is responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of programs and services for older Marylanders to promote their health and well-being. These services are provided at the local level, through Maryland's nineteen Area Agencies on Aging. The mission of the Department of Aging is to provide leadership and advocacy for older Marylanders and their families through information, education, programs, and services, which promote and enhance choice, independence and dignity. In addition to providing leadership and advocacy for older adults, the Department of Aging is the State administering authority for the national Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) initiative by the Administration on Aging, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the Veterans Administration. Maryland’s ADRC program is known as Maryland Access Point or MAP.
Purpose
This RFP is issued to acquire services to develop a marketing and outreach plan and marketing and outreach materials for the Maryland Access Point (MAP) Program. Tasks will include facilitation of strategic planning sessions, data gathering, and development of a marketing and outreach plan and production of materials.
Proposals are due to the Maryland Department of Aging by 4:00 p.m., Friday, April 15, 2011. Faxed proposals will not be accepted.
