The Warrior Transition Unit (WTU) Project is a federal government procurement through the Department of Defense (DoD) and Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Washington. This event is a collaboration between Whiting-Turner, the Governor’s Office of Minority Affairs, and the BRAC Small & Minority Business Advisory Board. Participants will be afforded the opportunity to hear “first-hand” what bid packages are available and the process involved. Representatives from the Maryland Department of Transportation’s (MDOT) Certification Program will also be on hand to help demystify the MBE Certification Application process. Whiting-Turner’s project team, along with our corporate Small Business Liaison Officer Joey Harmon, will be available to answer any potential questions and provide an overview of Whiting-Turner’s procurement process.
