ATTENTION ALL ROOFING CONTRACTORS

RE: RFO# 10-MISC-12. REOUEST FOR OUALIFICATIONS TO RECEIVE BIDS FOR ROOFING PROJECTS

Frederick County Public Schools pre-qualifies roofing contractors on an annual basis to be eligible to receive bid notices for roofing projects over $250,000.00.

All roofing contractors are required to submit qualification information by 4:30 P.M. March 1, 2010 to be eligible to be pre-qualified, and in accordance with the instructions of RFQ #10-MISC-12, Request for Roofing Projects. FCPS

Facilities and Purchasing staff will review all qualification materials, with only the top rated contractors approved to receive bidding documents for roofing projects over $250,000.00. (Effective from BOE date of award through December 31,2011, with one (1) contract extension period available.)

A complete packet is NOT enclosed. For a complete bid package, please visit our website at http://www.fcps.org/bidlist. This applies to all roofing contractors, even those who are currently pre-qualified by the Purchasing Department. DO NOT DELAY in obtaining or reviewing RFO#10-MISC-12, as qualification materials must be submitted and received bv March 1.2010. Failure to comply will exclude your firm from eligibility to receive bidding documents in 2010 and possibly 2011.

DUE DATE for Submitting Qualification Materials: 4:30 P.M. local time, March 1, 2010.
